About Swizin
Swizin is an independent lacrosse guide for players, parents, and coaches who want clear, practical answers — from picking your first stick to understanding offensive sets and the road to the LA28 Olympics.
We publish in-depth guides, gear sizing references, drills, and explainers, each built around real questions players actually ask. Where it matters, we show our work: comparison tables, original diagrams, and sourced facts.
What we cover
- Learn the game — rules, positions, formats (field, box, sixes), and the culture and history of the Creator's Game.
- Gear that fits — stick sizing, glove and helmet fit, balls, and honest cost breakdowns by level.
- Skills and coaching — stringing, shooting, dodging, goalie play, drills, and youth coaching guides.
Editorial standards
Every article is reviewed for accuracy before publishing and re-checked periodically. We cite official sources (World Lacrosse, USA Lacrosse, league rulebooks) for rules and records, and we never present sponsored content as editorial opinion. If we get something wrong, contact us and we will fix it.
